Introducing our First-Ever Audio Monitor

Introducing our First-Ever Audio Monitor

File Under Nursery Must-Haves For Your Parenting Journey.

You know those items in your life that start to become desert-island essentials without you even realizing it? Maybe it’s your Airpods, or the Stanley tumbler that sits permanent shotgun in your car. Maybe it’s the retinoid that your dermatologist recommended, or the calendar app on your phone that keeps your entire family operation afloat.

That’s sort of how we feel about the Nanit Sound + Light, which packs a three-in-one must-have punch as an audio monitor, sound machine and a full on nightlight and grows with your infant to meet their needs as they develop. Yes, the Pro Camera might play the starring role in our product arsenal, but the Sound + Light is our quiet warrior. It’s best supporting actress (America Ferrera, obvs). It’s the one that does the heavy lifting when it’s time to get that baby to sleep and keep them sleeping soundly throughout the night, so that you can do the same.

So what exactly does Sound + Light do? Well for one, it features a total soundtrack library, including soothing white noise, calming shushing and nature sounds, lullabies and wake-up songs, so that come bedtime, your baby isn’t distracted by the sound of your Yellowjackets binge blaring through the wall. Along with the customizable light colors, the lullabies create an ideal wind down setting for night-night vibes that can continue once they’re placed into the crib. You can then control the brightness and sound from your phone after you exit the room to take things down a notch once they’re asleep, and then schedule an optimal wakeup hue and corresponding playlist for the next morning.

Of course, Sound + Light wouldn’t be a Nanit solution (and the smartest audio monitor on the market) if it didn’t connect to your app for total monitoring, from cry detection to temperature and humidity tracking, movement and more. Its compact, portable design and a power adapter makes it prime for on-the-go use. (Yes, it’s a hotel room savior, too.) With multiple control options, you can customize your product to use entirely as you see fit.

The fun doesn’t end. Sound + Light works way beyond the baby years to see your children through various ages and stages, from infancy to independence. Once your child is sleeping in a bed, Sound + Light functions as a classic nightlight and noise machine, where its timed lighting options signal to small kids when it’s time for bed, OK to wake up, and OK to get out of bed to go wake up their parents who’ve been sleeping soundly all night in the next room.

You’re welcome.
